This starter class is for 3/4 thread serging only. If you have a 5 thread serger\, we will not go into 5 threads or cover stitch. \nKIT IS INCLUDED\nSUPPLIES NEEDED: \n\nPlease bring your serger instruction manual\, all accessories that came with your serger\, extra needles for your serger\, power cord complete\, serger in good working order\, small scissors\, and tweezers.\nYou’ll also need 4 spools of SERGER CONE thread the same colors as the tension knobs: usually red\, yellow\, green\, and blue.\nFabric is provided by the instructor.\nCheck your manual to see if you have needed accessories for class or email rebecca.joseph@mcdougalsewing.com for clarification.\n\nYou must be 18 or over to take this class and only 1 person per serger.\n\nSerger MUST be in good working order.\n\nIf you don’t know if it is or not\, contact Rebecca at Rebecca.joseph@mcdougalsewing.com and she can talk you through this process.  No refunds are given if the serger doesn’t work the day of class.

DESCRIPTION:Having trouble hooping T-shirts? Wondering how to use some of those specialty hoops you’ve had for years? This lecture-style class will give you tips on hooping knit shirts\, using the Endless hoop to decorate tablecloths\, and how to use the Viking/Pfaff 360 x 350 hoop. We also open the class up to any hooping question or issue. So come prepared with your challenges! \nWe’ll have one embroidery machine the teacher will use and you can practice hooping on or you can bring your embroidery machine and hoops with you and practice hooping on your own.
