We’ll utilize multiple elements of the mySewnet™ Embroidery Platinum package\, including Digitizing\, to design embroidery suitable for customizing blocks and then finishing with quilting in the hoop! \nPart 1: Embroidered Blocks with SuperDesign Elements (Gold and Platinum)\nSuperDesigns have many themed elements that would make delightful quilt blocks. Many SuperDesigns have properties settings\, and all SuperDesigns are working elements with green corner handles\, so they can be adjusted for size and proportion without degrading their stitch quality. \nSupplies:\n1. DESCRIPTION:A monthly club that meets to learn about new techniques in Embroidery.\n\n\n\nIf you have purchased your machine from McDougal Sewing Center\, you are welcome to join.  The annual Registration fee is $5 and a $15 class fee each time you attend. \nCall 281-347-0453 to Register or for more information. \nEmbroidery Club is by Invitation-only. You must have taken your basic guide classes and have a basic knowledge of your machine. This is not a novice class.

SUMMARY:Sewing Accessories Camp AM (Day 1)
DESCRIPTION: Camp Dates: June 10-12    8 & up\nAll camps are limited to 6 students and start by completing a small practice project which most sewers can take home on the first day. Sewers then complete the main project and time permitting another small project. \nSewing Machines\, basic sewing tools\, and supplies are brought to camp from home. Supply lists are provided for each camp online. A sewing kit with all tools including good scissors is offered to all campers for a discounted price of $49. To make the most of your new machine\, it is highly encouraged that you attend our “quick start” programs designed to help you get acquainted with your machine. Each session has been developed to gain familiarity with the basic features/functions of your new machine\, to get you creating quickly. These sessions are our gift to you with the purchase of a new machine from McDougal Sewing Center. \nJoin talented Education Team members for a “get acquainted” new machine mixer. The goal of this two-part session is to provide you with the information and knowledge needed to get the most from your new machine. \nWe will cover machine navigation (where is that stitch!)\, TNT (threading\, needles\, tension adjustment)\, and equip you to use your machine with confidence.  \nThis class is open to customers who purchased a qualifying sewing\, embroidery\, and/or combo machine from any McDougal’s location. \nYou must present a sales receipt to take this free class. \nQualifying Machines: \n\nViking: Opal\, Sapphire\, Designer\, Brilliance\, and Epic Lines.\nPfaff: Passport\, Ambition\, Expression\, Creative\, and Icon Lines.\nJUKI: ALL JUKI sewing machines.\nBrother: PS series sewing machines.\nnew Elna machines recently purchased at McDougal Sewing Centers.\n\nFor ALL Sewing/Embroidery “Guide” Classes we will provide you with the fabric and thread needed for the class. \nSupply List: Computer Machine Basic
