DESCRIPTION:SERGER 101 – OPEN TO THE PUBLIC\nGet out that serger\, dust it off and learn how to thread it\, and do some basic seams in this 2-hour class. This starter class is for 3/4 thread serging only. If you have a 5 thread serger\, we will not go into 5 threads or cover stitch. \nKIT IS INCLUDED\nSUPPLIES NEEDED: \n\nPlease bring your serger instruction manual\, all accessories that came with your serger\, extra needles for your serger\, power cord complete\, serger in good working order\, small scissors\, and tweezers.\nYou’ll also need 4 spools of SERGER CONE thread the same colors as the tension knobs: usually red\, yellow\, green\, and blue.\nFabric is provided by the instructor.\nCheck your manual to see if you have needed accessories for class or email rebecca.joseph@mcdougalsewing.com for clarification.\n\nYou must be 18 or over to take this class and only 1 person per serger.\n\nSerger MUST be in good working order.\n\nIf you don’t know if it is or not\, contact Rebecca at Rebecca.joseph@mcdougalsewing.com and she can talk you through this process.  No refunds are given if the serger doesn’t work the day of class.

We do have these at the store if needed.\nA few decorative threads\, pretty buttons or specialty cords or yarns to decorate your cover. Cotton thread for top and bobbin for\nNeedles- 90/14 Quilting or Microtex needles.\n\n\nPresser feet- Piping foot to fit your packaged piping\, decorative stitch foot\, regular sewing foot\, button sewing foot if you use buttons\, yarn or cording feet if you want to use that option.\nSewing machine complete with basic sewing supplies.
