DESCRIPTION:MASTER TECHNIQUE CLASS FOR ALL SEWING MACHINES SOLD AT MCDOUGAL SEWING\nIn this class\, you will learn about Decorative Trims and Applique Techniques.  Feet you can use are the yarn foot\, the 3 hole cord and join and fold foot\, the beading foot\, the ribbon foot\, and the open-toe applique foot. You’ll learn what special stitches work best with the different techniques. \nThere is a $10 kit fee for this class. Please bring your machine in good working order\, all pressure feet you have\, a bobbin with white bobbin thread in bobbin\,(top thread will be provided)\, small scissors for threads and a new Universal needle in machine. \n \nPrerequisite: Machine Basics  \n

SUMMARY:Advanced Embroidery Techniques- Endless Lace
DESCRIPTION:Let’s create some Endless lace to put in clothing or home dec! In this class placement is everything! You’ll learn how to connect designs in one VERY long row\, how to choose lace designs for your projects and what stabilizer\, threads and needles work the best. \nEndless Lace Class Supply list \n1. Any long thin rectangle hoop that you have that’s taller than it is wider. Ex.- 360X260\, 240×150 \n2. We’ll be talking about some good endless lace designs\, but \nbring a few that you think will make good endless lace. Border designs are a good start. \n3. You’ll need at least 1 spool of rayon only thread for the top and the bobbin. We’ll talk more about this in class. \n4. One roll of Aqua Magic stabilizer. \n5. If you have an Endless hoop\, bring it and we’ll talk about how to use it. \n6. If you have sewing software set-up on your laptop\, bring it. I’ll be using mySewnet; Creativate\, in class.
