Scan N Cut – Out of the Box

We will begin by getting to know our Scan n Cut Machine and learning how to navigate through its settings and functions as we set up the machine ready for use.
Terminology and tools will be covered as well as some basic maintenance of the Scan n Cut machine and the mats.To encourage and inspire future projects, we will talk about what your machine is capable of accomplishing with Online projects and Add-ons.

As time permits, we will complete two projects that exist within your machine to get us comfortable with using our machines.

Project 1 –Scan and cut a printed design

This project will utilize both functions of the machine to Scan and Cut a printed design.

Project 2 –A Layered Design

This project is designed to learn the art of scanning our mat into the machine with different pieces of paper attached, to move and place objects of design to exactly where we need them to be in order to utilize a one pass cut to achieve a 3D card.

• All tools and cutting mat that came with your machine
