Advanced Sewing Techniques-Quilting & Heirloom Sewing

This session will be on Quilting techniques including free motion and piecing and Heirloom techniques including twin needle, wing needle sewing. The kit for this class will include all fabrics.  Kit fee for this class will be $10, cash only.

1. Please see the PDF attached to this class for Basic supplies.
2. Quilting – Presser feet
   1. ¼” foot with guide, even feed or walking foot, free motion spring foot for your machine, Stitch in ditch foot. If you don’t have these feet, we may have some you can borrow for class. The only foot that can’t be borrowed is the walking foot.
   2. Needle – Quilting needle size 70/10 or 80/11 and 90/14
3. Heirloom –
   1. Two twin needles- sizes 2.0 or 2.5 and 1.6. Wing needle size 100/16.  If you don’t have the needles you will have to purchase them the day of class.
   2. Presser Feet – Candle wicking, Pin tuck foot. We have most of these feet for you to borrow if you don’t have them.
