Advanced Techniques Serger

Let’s learn how to use some of the many stitches our sergers do and how the optional pressure feet help our creativity. The techniques we will do this quarter are Ruffling/Gathering and Hemming techniques- Rolled and Blind hem.

This is a hands-on intermediate class. You must know how to thread your serger and feel comfortable using it. Bring your serger, in good working order and all attachments that came with it. Have your serger threaded with 4 spools of white/cream thread, 2 new needles and a small pair of scissors. Fabric and specialty tools will be provided.  Some attachments will be shared during class when needed. $5 kit fee due day of class.
