Feet Fetish – Shadow Applique

Shadow Applique is a lovely fine embellishment used mostly with light colored fabrics. Actually a variation of reverse applique, the appliqued pieces are placed behind the base fabric and, when trimmed, the color “shadows” through. Fabric choices are important as well as stitches chosen.

Supply list:

1. Machine in good working order with power cord and controller..
2. Basic sewing supplies with fabric marking pen- NOT chalk
3. Open Toe presser foot and Gimp presser foot,(optional)
4. Light regular thread in bobbin. Thread for top will be provided for use day of class.
5. New Universal needle size 70/10
6. Thread scissors and applique scissors- pointy scissors, paper scissors.

$10 Kit fee, due day of class, will include fabrics and stabilizer.
