Bio
Quilting is my hobby and my passion. I started my journey in 2002 when I decided to accompany a group of quilters on a Shop Hop (Shop Hop is organized by several quilt stores in the area to promote their stores and of course specials on all purchases).
That was the start, and from there I proceeded to take classes to learn all I could. Totally fascinated with taking fabric, cutting it into strips, squares and piecing it back together making beautiful blocks to form a pattern for a quilt. So, the journey began.
My first stop was McDougal’s Sewing Center (my mother’s Kenmore 1965 sewing machine was a bit heavy to take to classes) and my new sewing machine was my first investment. Proceeded trading and upgrading two more times. Now I enjoy passing along my passion to the next hobbyist. ‘It is hard to believe that I have been quilting for 20 years. I will say that each day I learn more about this wonderful hobby called quilting. It will be my pleasure to take you along this journey with me.
