Welcome to a Wonky Texture Quilt! It is Wonky because of the skewed block and textured because of the colorful techniques that make up the center squares. This quilt is about 52” X 72” with 24 technique blocks.

Choose a multi-colored print for the basic color scheme of your quilt. Then choose four black and white prints for the inner borders, and twelve tone on tones for texture squares. If you would like to make a story board like mine, I have provided you with the base. Print it on card stock, and you will have a great working piece to get started collecting your fun adornments. I used a variety of different things. Some rick rack, ribbon, a bit of lace and yarn. You do not have to do a storyboard; you can just go thru your stash and find lots of fun colors and patterned fabrics to put together to create your one-of-a-kind quilt.

Remember, if you don’t have the pressure foot needed for the technique, you can always “borrow” most feet for the 2-hour class to determine if you’ll use the foot again. As always, to keep the club going, we ask you purchase at least 1 foot per quarter this year. Just let me know if you have any questions about Club policies.
