Appliqué with your Embroidery Machine

Have you wondered how to do applique using your embroidery machine? With this technique class you will learn how to take an appliqué design and how to transform it into something unique with your fabric and thread choices. This is a technique class where you will learn the mechanics of doing appliqué. You will complete a step-by-step worksheet and do a two-color appliqué as well.

Fabric/stabilizer kit included

Prerequisite: You must know how the basics of your embroidery machine. You must have a minimum size 5×7 hoop or larger.

Supply list:

• Machine with embroidery unit, embroidery foot, power cord, and hoop
• 4-6 decorative embroidery threads in colors of choice
• Bobbin with embroidery bobbin thread or a prewound bobbin
• Applique scissors and sharp trimming scissors
• Pink Perfection embroidery tape
• New 80/12 embroidery needle
