Feet Fetish – Fiber Fun Scarves

If you love fabric, there’s also a good chance that you love fibers of all kinds—yarns, novelty threads, ribbons, trims, cords, etc. Assuming that’s the case and perhaps you have some of those things in your stash, making your own scarves is a fun way to showcase a medley of those fun fibers.

Supply list:

1. 50″-60″ long of heavy water soluble stabilizer- Aqua Magic- at least 12″ wide or wider. This stabilizer is going to have a ” heavy, non-stick feel” to it, like an interfacing, NOT TOPPER.
2. Yarns, threads, ribbons, thin fabric strips, cords or trims to fill in the scarf. The scarf in the picture is filled with loose threads and lots of stitching!
3. Decorative sewing threads to work with your scarf colors. You’ll need to wind a bobbin with the same decorative thread, so you will need a bobbin for each color change.
4. Universal needle size 80/12 or 90/14, depending on how you fill your scarf.
5. Basic sewing supplies including straight pins.
