Feet Fetish- Frayed or Raw Edge Appilque

Raw Edge Appliqué, is a fun technique that will add some “rawness” to your designs. It’s a simple, quick and easy-to-grasp technique that gives amazing results. Raw edge appliqué is simply the process of making patterns or pictures with fabric.

Supply list:

1. Machine in good working order with power cord and controller
2. Basic sewing supplies with marking pen/chalk
3. Small scraps of colorful fabric from your stash.
4. Open-Toe presser foot and free motion foot
5. Extra spool pin to be able to use 2 threads in the top.
6. Mix of decorative and regular threads in different colors
7. Embroidery bobbin thread wound on a bobbin, or a neutral regular thread on bobbin
8. New Topstitch needle size 90/14 in machine and Microtex or Sharp needle size 90/14
9. Thread scissors
10. Some type of stiletto or fine pointed tool to hold down fabric as you sew.
11. Small iron and iron pad if you have one.
