Patchwork Scarf and Gloves

Posted on September 20, 2020

Winter is approaching, and with winter comes some cold and chilly weather.

Check out this project created by Lynn Sykes from Juki for a Scarf and Gloves.  This project uses a sewing machine and a serger. But, if you don’t have a serger, there are instructions for using the overcast stitch on your sewing machine. The project also uses a twin needle to topstitch around the blocks. If you have never used a twin needle why not give it a try. Refer to the manual for your machine for using a twin needle.  You can always just use your single needle to topstitch around the blocks, sewing two rows of topstitching on each block about 1/4″ apart.

The Scarf and Gloves make a nice gift for those on your holiday gift list.  Most importantly keep sewing and have fun!
