Winter is approaching, and with winter comes some cold and chilly weather.
Check out this project created by Lynn Sykes from Juki for a Scarf and Gloves. This project uses a sewing machine and a serger. But, if you don’t have a serger, there are instructions for using the overcast stitch on your sewing machine. The project also uses a twin needle to top stitch around the blocks. If you have never used a twin needle why not give it a try. Refer to the manual for your machine for using a twin needle. You can always just use your single needle to top stitch around the blocks, sewing two rows of top stitching on each block about 1/4″ apart.
The Scarf and Gloves make a nice gift for those on your holiday gift list. Most importantly keep sewing and have fun!
